Valuation Issues Facing Owners of Managed Businesses
Michael Devonshire, CPA, CBV, of BDO Canada will cover common issues that he sees in owner-managed businesses and their accountants. This includes dealing with the CRA, common issues raised by the CRA, shareholders' agreements, and other valuation issues including matrimonial matters.
Mike works with business owners and management teams on complex valuation and corporate planning matters. He not only helps owners understand what their business is worth today, but what they can do to enhance value over time. He has worked with owners of privately-held businesses in a variety of of industries including construction, real estate, oil & gas services, renewable energy and professional services.
