Speaker Spotlight: Jean-Guy Talbot, FCPA, FCGA
Jean-Guy started his accounting practice, Talbot & Associates, alone from his home basement, and has grown it to its current size of nearly 70 employees with 6 offices in Manitoba.
He believes that running a successful happy practice comes from surrounding yourself with the best people, making learning a priority, and continually challenging his thinking on all matters of business. He believes that success is measured, not only by how much money one makes, but mostly with how happy and fulfilled we are with our everyday lives.
Jean-Guy has recently stepped down from his role as CEO of his practice to focus more time and energy on RêveNew Practice Management that provides mentoring and consulting services to small to medium firms across North America. He helps practitioners gain control over their practice rather than it controlling them and achieve financial success they’ve never dreamed possible.
His track record in helping practitioners increase profits often in excess of 500% speaks for itself. Jean-Guy has authored one book on practice management and has 4 more that are to be released very soon.
This presentation will challenge everyone to move away from charging by the hour and help determine what to charge for all the different services rendered. It will focus on asking the right questions, negotiations techniques, which will in turn result in much greater profits.
