The Closed-Loop Finance
Function:  Building a Self-Sufficient
Finance Department for Your Clients

Location:
Carriage House Inn

Date: October 21, 2026

Lunch: 11:30am

Presentation: 12:00pm

Topic Description: Most finance tech stacks are technically "connected," but still run on manual glue work: re-keyed journal entries, monthly reconciliations done by memory, and books that only get sorted out once a year. Laura Acs, founder of Collective Finance, will walk through what it actually takes to build a closed-loop finance function, one where transactions are coded correctly the month they happen, not reconstructed at tax time. For CPAs, this session translates directly into cleaner year-end files, fewer missed deductions, and more time for real advisory work instead of bookkeeping cleanup.
